Claus Dettelbacher

Claus Dettelbacher holds a master’s degree in Philosophy and Oriental Studies from Vienna University, Austria. Initially he began a degree in Naval Architecture before switching course and then fi nally specializing in Philosophy of History and Philosophy of Science. He wrote his master’s thesis on cyclical models of history with reference to Julius Evola’s Revolte against the Modern World. Claus has been an avid blogger for years, published his fi rst book on the Platonic Great Year and the World Ages in 2008 and The Pre-Revolution Handbook in 2010.

Claus had his share of blue-collar experience while employed at a shop for mountaineering and outdoor equipment and when working at various mountain lodges in the Alps. He is currently living in New Delhi – when not traveling around other colorful parts of India and Asia. He has founded a local ‘We Are Change India’ chapter and is constantly publishing on its website www.wearechange.in. Claus is doing research for another book on the World Ages which will be published in English and refl ect complementary material on this little known but important topic. He is also working on a book on the ‘Naga Phenomenon’ – the ancient Naga kings of India and Southeast-Asia.
